Food and food products division:

As WTO negotiations struggle towards a conclusion and in spite of their slow pace, food and food products are one of the highest potential services. This division is in the process of creation. It will focus on helping mainly North American, Australasian and European institutions in entering into the populated India market. The second target market for this division is Africa and Latin America where there are both suppliers and consumers of food related commodities. The nature of both these markets is fundamentally different and requires different strategies and approaches. The Africa geography in particular works in close coordination with the SAC social services division.

SAC global teams are deployed to examine the prevailing policy and regulatory environment, identifying credible partners, assisting in getting necessary clearances, scouting for property, recruitment of local experts, product customization to suit local requirements, contract farming support services, distribution and retail network establishment, market strategy experts, pricing and business set up support services etc. It can help in identifying suitable and credible partners, conducting due diligence pre and post deal organization integration. This division works in close collaboration with SAC M&A division. The virtual nature of SAC enables it to rapidly scale up to a customer requirement and complete tasks within a mutually agreed time frame.
